Plan the Quality Mark evidence before the Saudi line starts

A Saudi factory applying for the Quality Mark needs a plan for producing evidence from the line.

SASO's published application requirements include a quality control scheme and results of product self-monitoring. They also call for a product test report from an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory in the relevant product field.

For an overseas manufacturer setting up local production, that makes the testing plan part of factory preparation. Identify which records the new operation will generate, who will own them, and whether the proposed laboratory's accredited scope covers the product.

A lab's accreditation logo alone does not answer that last question. Check the scope against the tests your application needs before booking the work.
